In the backdrop of several mega events that occur across the globe, in India, and closer home ---- at Kolkata, some small silent revolutions also take shape that aim at positive transformations of the moral, social, and cultural faculties of mankind in general in a world of disharmony !
Kalajyoti is one such effort unique in its category.
Kalajyoti was established in the year 2000 in South 24 Parganas, Rajpur, west Bengal. An Indian traditional ‘kul’ (home) of the ‘guru’ (teacher), was built close to the city of Kolkata, the City of Joy so that students are trained in-house in natural surroundings on Dance, Vocal, Percussion, Sanskrit Language, Yoga, and Aesthetics irrespective of Creed, Caste or Religion .
